I am passionate about making communities safer, healthier, and better places to live. Having been involved in lifesaving clubs and organisations since I was 13 years old I have seen the benefits that clubs bring to their members and the broader community.
About MeI am Honorary Treasurer and therefore automatically, by virtue of holding that office, I am a trustee.
About MeHi, I'm Dorothy, I have trained as a lifeguard for 50 years and competed in local Twilights and British and World Championships, achieving gold with my team-mates. As Chairman, I led the Corps to become a registered charity and initiated discussions with the Council regarding Josephs Steps, thereby safeguarding our future.
About MeI have been a member of the Corps since 1970 and have held many positions on the committee in the past, including Club Captain and Chairman. Now having retired from my career, I have plenty of time to help with the Corps moving forward.
About MeI have been a member of the club for 5 years. Initially I sat quietly on the side, enjoying a quiet Friday watching my son train.
